Snow Day!

We got about 9 inches of snow last night - needless to say, almost everything was canceled today. Thankfully, Nana and Da came over to dig us out of the snow and managed to snowblow the driveway! The snow came up past Max's knees! Nana took the boys to her house and they are having fun making snow forts and I'm enjoying some peace and quiet now. Now, if only I could stop procrastinating on this paper I have to write...

HP

The boys are in a huge Harry Potter phase right now. Lucas is on book five and can hardly put it down. Max is into the movies more and they both are into role playing. Somehow I always end up being Professor McGonigal or Mrs. Weasley. They both fight over who gets to be Harry! This picture is Max in dress-up mode. The other picture is Lucas and his pals Fillip and Levi at the taekwondo tournament last weekend.

Lucas had a taekwondo tournament this past Saturday. He got a bronze in forms and a gold in tag team sparring! He had a great partner. Hopefully I'll be able to post a picture of he and his pals later. Today is a very exciting day for obvious reasons. I won't get on a soapbox about anything but I will continue to hope that our country can make the changes it needs.

more pics

Ross and I took all four boys to the Children's Museum the Monday after Christmas. I have never seen it so busy in my life. There were people parking blocks away. All of the boys were perfectly behaved and we had a great time.

We're at Scotty's for an after-Christmas dinner between friends. I've been friends with most of these girls since middle-school and I love them all. I'm so thankful to have such good friends and to be able to catch up with everyone over the holidays.

The new year is upon us, and Ross and I are testing our inner (and outer) strength with P90X. We're on day 3 of 90 and we are definitely feeling the burn. Wish us luck!

This picture is from the Holiday sweater party/Nool's birthday party. I was especially partial to my sweater - you may not be able to see the sequined camels on the side. I didn't win the prize though, Nate did (not pictured). His was pretty hideous.

Happy New Year

It's been a month since I've posted. We had a very busy December! We all survived the holidays and they were great. We are so grateful for such wonderful friends and family. The boys are gearing up to go back to school and I am anxiously awaiting another semester at IUPUI. Only 5 classes to go! I'll post pictures when I have a few minutes of spare time...
