So much going on...

I am currently trying to figure out how I'm going to work, do laundry, do dishes, do homework on top of having a doctor's appointment and a meeting at the new intermediate school for Lucas tonight. I just don't think there are enough hours in the day.

Once I get my paper done for one class, I have a final the next week, a paper for the other class due the week after that and another final the following week. I guess it could be worse and they could all be due at the same time...the boys only have 7 weeks of school left and are itching for summer break. Before this, though, we have a taekwondo tournament that we are working at ALL weekend (Lu is competing on Sunday), Max has baseball opening day, and Lucas starts soccer. It is exhausting, and I am praying I can keep up!

I can't believe March is already over. We had an amazing weekend! My friend Abby got us front row seats to the Sweet Sixteen in Indy. Friday we took Lu and Sunday we took both boys. It was incredible. We really weren't rooting for any of the teams (although I had Louisville winning my brackets!) - it was just great to be there in that atmosphere. Max's Dad hosted a birthday party for him on Saturday and he had a great time. This upcoming week begins the boys' spring break and I am off to Chicago for a business trip. When I get back my Uncle Ken and Aunt Brenda will be visiting from Virginia! I'll post pics of bball as soon as I can get them up!

Finally!

It's finally going to be warm this weekend! Ross and I signed up for the Hoops Day 5K on March 15 and we're going to have to get a couple of runs in before then. This weekend should be perfect. We're also taking the boys to the Lego exhibit at the Children's Museum so it should be a pretty busy weekend. My parents got back from their Antarctica trip and things are finally back to normal, thank goodness! The next few weeks are going ot be very busy...Max turns 6, we have tickets to the NCAA Men's Regionals at Lucas Oil Stadium, my nephews are visiting and we have a weekend trip to Chicago on the horizon. With all of that and the warm weather coming, March should be a great month!

Lately...

things have been very busy. We lost Ross's grandfather on Valentine's Day and spent the following few days with his family in Lafayette. After we got home we had to rush to do Lucas's science fair project - due this week. We are almost done and will post a picture tonight. He's very proud of it and worked hard. We're doing a late birthday dinner with our friends on Wednesday and I have a midterm on Friday and after that finally, some time to relax! My parents get home on Monday, March 2, and hopefully we'll all get back to normal.

Snow Day!

We got about 9 inches of snow last night - needless to say, almost everything was canceled today. Thankfully, Nana and Da came over to dig us out of the snow and managed to snowblow the driveway! The snow came up past Max's knees! Nana took the boys to her house and they are having fun making snow forts and I'm enjoying some peace and quiet now. Now, if only I could stop procrastinating on this paper I have to write...

HP

The boys are in a huge Harry Potter phase right now. Lucas is on book five and can hardly put it down. Max is into the movies more and they both are into role playing. Somehow I always end up being Professor McGonigal or Mrs. Weasley. They both fight over who gets to be Harry! This picture is Max in dress-up mode. The other picture is Lucas and his pals Fillip and Levi at the taekwondo tournament last weekend.

Lucas had a taekwondo tournament this past Saturday. He got a bronze in forms and a gold in tag team sparring! He had a great partner. Hopefully I'll be able to post a picture of he and his pals later. Today is a very exciting day for obvious reasons. I won't get on a soapbox about anything but I will continue to hope that our country can make the changes it needs.
